- Medical Benefits
Our plan helps you pay the cost of the doctor visits, hospital expenses, prescription drugs and a variety of other services for you and your covered dependents.
- Life Benefits
Canon provides basic life insurance coverage. You may elect additional coverage for yourself and your dependents.
- Disability Benefits
Canon has short term and long term disability programs. Short term benefits are provided for up to 25 weeks. You may be eligible for Long term disability benefits which typically pay 60% of your salary, up to $10,000 per month.
- Vision Benefits
This plan offers coverage for eye exams, eyeglasses, and contact lenses.
- Dental Benefits
Preventive services are covered at 100% with no deductible. After you satisfy a $50 annual deductible, basic dental procedures are paid at 80% and major services are covered at 50%.
- Flexible Spending Account Benefits
Flexible Spending Accounts allow you to direct a part of your pay, on a pre-tax basis, into a special account that can be used through the year to reimburse yourself for certain out of pocket health and/or dependent care expenses.

- Employee Savings and Retirement Plan
The Vanguard Group is one of the country's largest mutual fund companies and is considered a leader among service providers for employer-sponsored savings plans. Vanguard is the fund manager and record keeper for Canon's Savings and Retirement plan.
You may contribute up to 75% of your eligible pay to the plan. The plan offers many investment choices in which you may invest your contributions.
Canon will match your before-tax contributions dollar for dollar on the first 1% you contribute, and 50 cents for every dollar on the next 5% you contribute.
In addition to the matching contributions to your 401(k), the Company may also make Profit Sharing contributions to your account. The amount you receive is based on your eligible pay.
